OLGA SIDOROVA

I'm the type of person who always welcomes you with a warm smile and an open heart

I am Olga Sidorova, an osteopath and certified massage therapist with 10 years of experience in bodywork and manual therapy. I help people who live under constant pressure, work hard, carry a great deal of responsibility, and experience pain, fatigue, or the feeling that their body has been asking for attention for a long time.

Many people come to my practice not only for massage, but because their body feels tense, tired, restless, or movement no longer feels free and natural. Sometimes the issue is pain in the neck, back, or jaw area. Other times it is chronic tension, stress, insomnia, headaches, or simply the feeling that the body no longer knows how to relax.

My work is based on osteopathy, massage therapy, and a holistic understanding of the body. I do not focus only on the area of pain, but also on how breathing, posture, movement, the nervous system, daily stress, and life circumstances affect the way the body functions.

It is important to me that every client feels safe. In my practice, there is no pressure, dismissal, manipulation, or blame. I listen carefully, explain what I am doing, and choose methods individually for each person.

My first profession was as a violin teacher. I graduated from Oulu University of Applied Sciences in 2010 with a degree in Music Pedagogy. My background in music has given me a unique understanding of the body: how posture, breathing, fine motor skills, repetitive movements, performance anxiety, and emotional stress can affect overall well-being. Later, this experience became an important part of my work with musicians, singers, actors, and other people who use their bodies intensively in their profession.

Today, I combine the experience of a musician, educator, massage therapist, and osteopath in my work. This gives me a broad perspective on human well-being and helps me understand the multidimensional nature of physical symptoms.

My approach is based on knowledge of anatomy, physiology, osteopathy, and massage therapy. I do not work according to rigid patterns, because the same pain can have very different causes in different people. What matters to me is understanding what is happening in your body: where it is under strain, where it needs movement, where the nervous system is unable to settle, and how the body can be supported gently, safely, and appropriately.

I use methods that suit your individual situation. Treatment may be gentle, deeper, relaxing, or more structural - depending on your needs and your body’s responses.

My goal is not only to relieve symptoms temporarily, but also to help you better understand your body and discover greater mobility, lightness, and inner calm.

My work supports health, well-being, and the body’s balance, but it does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

If you have chronic illnesses, acute symptoms, injuries, or are unsure whether treatment is suitable for you, I recommend consulting a doctor before booking a session.

My practice in Etu-Töölö is a place where your body is listened to and treated with gentleness, professionalism, and respect.
